Websites where Coyan descendants are mentioned

Jackson Coyan (my gg-grandfather's) Civil War regiment - the 36th O.V.I.
An interesting newspaper article on Michael Coyan (my 2nd cousin) of Lebanon, Ohio
Another article on Michael Coyan - with pictures
A third article on Michael Coyan - a very civic-minded man
A front page article from the Columbus Dispatch on my Jackson, Ohio cousin, Jack Coyan. In 1998, the Dispatch decided to "profile" each of the 88 counties leading up to Ohio's bicentennial in 2003. Jack and his family were chosen to "represent" Jackson county! The article is a nice tribute to them.
A Columbus Dispatch article mentioning my dear sister, Deb Coyan. In 1997, Deb was "the star" in a nationally televised PBS show in the award-winning series, Country Inn Cooking with Gail Greco when Ravenwood Castle was one of 26 inns in the United States initially chosen to be featured! I have a copy of the show so if you are interested in seeing it, email me. All I need is a blank VHS tape from you.
A link to the personal website of Michael Paul Coyan - a 5th cousin to me
A link to the personal website of David Brenneman, who has devoted a page to his sister, Karen Brenneman Coyan. Karen died of cancer at age 40 on February 2, 2000.
A link to the personal website of Paul and Janeen Coyan - Paul is also a 5th cousin to me. Both he and Michael Paul Coyan are members of the "Montana branch" of Coyan's that I was able to "connect" to our family a few months ago.
A link to the Garrett family tree database, maintained by Paul Leonard Garrett. My 3rd great-aunt, Mary Coyan Garrett, is also a part of this Garrett family tree.
The Ninth Pennsylvania Reserve Corps - there is mention here of William H.Coyan, who was murdered by a fellow Union soldier during the Civil War. William H. was a 1st cousin to my 3rd great-grandfather, William J. Coyan.

Music has always been a passion of mine (my CD collection now exceeds 600). As my Scotch-Irish heritage gained importance to me these last few years, so did my appreciation for Celtic music. Here is a link to my favorite Celtic/New Age artist, Enya, who is a native of Northern Ireland, and a multiple Grammy award winner.
My next favorite Celtic artist would have to be Loreena McKennitt, who is blessed with one of the most incredible voices I have ever heard. Her 1997 song, "The Mummer's Dance", made her famous world-wide in Celtic/New Age music circles.
